Current opportunities

Construction Professional – Contract Administrator (Class 2 Buildings)

We are seeking a Construction Professional with Contract Admin experience looking to work with our team of Project Management Consultants to assist our Clients (Developers and Builders) in the successful delivery of their Construction Projects.
This opportunity will allow you to work across both multi residential & commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities to include but not be limited to the following:

  • Involvement on multiple projects from initiation to completion with main focus on Class 2 Buildings
  • Project scheduling, project tracking, assist the Project Managers in defining the project documentation, project plan, activities, milestones, and resource requirements
  • Initiate, assess, approve & track project RFQ & RFP according to contract terms
  • Managing contractual risks - WHS, QA, budgets, and schedules
  • Processing claims and variations
  • Ensuring that quality assurances are completed, recorded, and meet company standards and project scope
  • Document Control
  • Interpreting project drawings and specifications
  • Preparation of Contracts
  • Ordering of material
  • Provide aid to the office & site team
  • Liaising with Consultants, Contractors & Authorities
  • Assist in the obtaining of Project Certification (Construction Certificate, Occupation Certificate)

Qualifications and Requirements:

We are currently accepting applications from candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a Contract Administrator role preferable on Class 2 Buildings in NSW
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (in Building & Construction)
  • Excellent managerial skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities
  • Ability to deliver on commitments and exceed client expectations
  • Desire and ability to work in and contribute to project teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the building and construction process

Design Coordinator

Responsibilities to include but not be limited to the following:

  • Establish & implement the Project Design Management Plan;
  • Select and engage consultants;
  • Apply strategic Design Management principles to deliver optimum project outcomes;
  • Partake in peer review of the design for regulatory and building compliance;
  • Coordination of services;
  • Assist in design meetings;
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and authorities to seek feedback/approval on design matters;
  • Hand over documentation to the construction team and assist them during construction with design queries;
  • Assist with setting up scope of works for trade packages;
  • Run multiple projects at the same time;

Qualifications and Requirements:

We are currently accepting applications from candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar
  • Minimum 5 years'+ Experience in a Design Management/Coordination role;
  • Strong understanding of regulations and codes;
  • Project Management/Coordination Experience;
  • Strong Communication skills (verbal and written);
  • Exceptional organisational capabilities;
  • Experience in multi-residential apartment buildings (Class 2);
